According to UK’s Evening Standard, the victim told the police that he was pushed against a wall, forced to the floor and raped.
The distressed 27-year-old survivor was still on the floor reeling from pain when he was found by a good Samaritan who contacted the police for an ambulance at about 12.20pm. Police say he was raped sometime between 9.35am and 11.40am.
Police officers investigating the rape case believe the two gay rapists who sexually assaulted this young man must be known to him, and Sussex police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the attack to step forward with information.
Detective sergeant Lex Witek said: “The victim wasn’t physically hurt but was in a distressed state.
“We believe this was not a stranger attack but carried out by people known to him.”
