Lena Dunham has revealed a few things you probably don’t know about the former U.S. President’s daughter Malia Obama.
The American TV personality who is best known for her roles as a writer, actress, and producer of the HBO series “Girls (2012-present),” says Malia is just as intelligent as her parents.
In 2015, Malia proved she’s a chip off the old block, after spending her summer holiday as an intern on the set of HBO’s “Girls”.
Her level of confidence and knowledge startled the show’s cast and creator, Dunham, who confirmed that “She (Malia) is so smart.”

Speaking at Howard Stern’s radio show on her experience with the president’s daughter, the Golden Globe award winner said, “I once asked her, ‘What’s your favorite movie?’ She was like, ‘Do you want me to list it by favorite, director, writer, or cinematographer?’
Dunham, 30, recalled her humble response, “I was like, ‘You’re smarter than me, let’s just be done with this topic’.”
Being a daughter of an Ivy League graduate and president of the United States, demands more than just the pomp that comes with it. Having a few quality brains is an indispensable part.
“Obviously, we weren’t making her go get our coffee,” Dunham joked about Malia’s time on the set of HBO’s girls. “But she wanted to do all the jobs, that was the cool thing. She was totally enthusiastic.

Mr. Barack Obama said shortly before his inauguration that he wants his daughters “to grow up in a world with no limits on your dreams and no achievements beyond your reach, and to grow into compassionate, committed women who will help build that world.”
The open letter from Mr. President was published by Parade magazine in January, 2009.
Malia secured an internship with famous Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. The job started in February, 2017.
