Manchester United defender, Harry Maguire has defended under-fire teammate, Marcus Rashford after another poor display in the Premier League.
Rashford was one of the worst players as Man United lost 1-0 against Newcastle United on Saturday.
The England international was poor in attack against the host at St. James’ Park.
He was slammed by Man United legend Paul Scholes after his performance against Eddie Howe’s side.
Speaking after the game, Maguire told TNT that his fellow countryman is working hard.
“Marcus had an unbelievable season last season,” Maguire said.
“This season, it has not clicked for him. He’s working hard. Everyone in that dressing room knows what he’s about.”

Newcastle United boss, Eddie Howe has explained why his team defeated Manchester United 1-0 in Saturday’s Premier League tie.
Anthony Gordon’s goal was enough to give Newcastle the victory over Man United at St. James’ Park.
Speaking after the game, Howe told TNT Sports that his players gave brilliant performance against the visitors.
“I could not be happier with the players tonight,” Howe said.
“The performances we put in against three top teams were brilliant, so that will give us confidence.
“Then, when we get some players back, we can push on even further.”
