Liverpool leading EPL with 5 points after Bournemouth win

Liverpool have opened a five-point gap at the top of the Premier League table, thanks to a comprehensive 4-0 win over Bournemouth on Sunday.

There were no goals in the first half, as the Reds went toe-to-toe with their hosts at the Vitality Stadium.

Darwin Nunez opened the scoring four minutes after half-time, with a low curling effort past Neto.

Diogo Jota then bagged a double before Nunez finished the scoring in stoppage time.

The win takes Jurgen Klopp’s men up to 48 points, five more than the trio of Manchester City, Arsenal and Aston Villa.

City have however played one less game.
