Leicester have signed ex-Real Betis goalkeeper Francisco Vieites on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old has signed a two-year contract at the Championship side.
The Spaniard played eight times in last season’s Conference League as Betis finished runners-up after final defeat to Chelsea.
Vieites said: “It’s a very big step for my career. I’m very happy to join this massive club and I’m eager to start working, meet my colleagues and to try and enjoy the first three points.
“The project is massive. They are doing a great job, the coaches, with a way to play football that I like. It’s like a mix of Spanish football and English football. That’s the way I like to play football.
“I promise that I will give my best every day, every match, and I’m sure we will have fun. The way that I have fun is winning.”
