One name that was always going to be in this surprising England squad was talisman Harry Kane.

The captain has just posted a video on social media in the last few minutes expressing his pride at going to another World Cup, his third.

“I never take these moments for granted,” Kane said. 

He will be hoping to become the Three Lions’ leading scorer in World Cup history this summer (see 09:33 post).
