The 20-year-old Nigeria international footballer is having a good time with The Gunners. In what has been a very impressive start for the season, Alex has recorded three assists in five games.

His solid performances for Arsene Wenger‘s side has earned him a spot in the team’s starting eleven, giving the Frenchman an extra attacking option.

Arsenal midfielder Ozil has therefore tipped the youngster as a future great.

He told Arsenal’s Matchday Programme: “He reminds me of his uncle Jay-Jay Okocha. He was a player I loved watching.

“Alex reminds me of a mixture of him and Edgar Davids. He’s really strong on the ball, also defensively, but he’s good in front of goal too.

“He’s developing really well and if he continues the way he’s been playing for the whole season, he will enhance his game.”

The Germany international footballer continues: “The manager knows exactly how good he is and I wish him all the best.”
