Israel awaiting US green light for attacks on Iranian energy sites, official says

Israel ‌is preparing to attack Iranian ‌energy facilities but is awaiting a green light from ‌the US, a senior Israeli defence official said on Saturday, adding that any such attacks would likely ‌come within the next week.

The comments ‌came after Donald Trump issued a 48-hour ultimatum to Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, negotiate with Washington, or face “hell.”

Netanyahu: We’ll keeping striking Iran, as I promised

Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel will continue to hit Iran hard after strikes targeted the country’s “money machine”.

“After we destroyed 70% of its ability to create steel, which is used as the raw material for the weapons used against us,” the Israeli PM said, “today we attacked their petrochemical factories”.

“These two things are their money machine, which funds their war of terror against us and against the world.”

“We will continue to hit them, as I promised.”
