Iran’s internet connectivity partially restored

The Iranian Minister of Communications has said that as of tonight, Iran’s internet connection will be “fully restored”, our colleagues from Euronews’ Persian and Arabic services report.

Over recent days, internet connection in Iran has been significantly disrupted, creating a near-communication blackout for many.

Internet-access advocacy group NetBlocks.org reported a “partial restoration in internet connectivity” this morning after what they described as a “~62 hour government-imposed shutdown.”

It said coverage remains “diminished in some areas and overall connectivity remains below ordinary levels.”
