Ipswich have confirmed Chuba Akpom’s loan move from Ajax will become permanent.
The forward moved to Portman Road in the summer on a temporary move which included a potential obligation to buy that was triggered when Ipswich sealed promotion to the Premier League.
Akpom has scored twice and registered one assist in 29 appearances in the Championship this season.
The 30-year-old’s permanent contract with Ipswich, which will come into effect from July 1, runs until 2029.
