Offices belonging to high-ranking Hamas officials have been raided by Israeli commando troops, the Israel Defence Forces has said.
Inside the buildings, troops found weapons, ammunition and grenades, it claimed.
“Lookout cameras” were also discovered at the locations in Khan Younis and were destroyed, it added.
“The forces conducted targeted raids on large amounts of terror infrastructure in southern Khan Younis,” it wrote on Telegram.
“During the operation, the forces engaged in close quarters combat and eliminated a terrorist squad.”
