More than 27,300 people killed in Gaza so far, says Hamas-led ministry
A total of 27,365 people have been killed in Gaza since the conflict erupted on 7 October, the Hamas-led health ministry has said.
A further 66,630 people have been injured, it added.
In the last 24 hours, it said 127 people had been killed and 178 injured.
“A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads the occupation prevents the arrival of ambulance crews and civil defence teams,” it added.
The ministry does not differentiate between civilian and militant deaths.
Israel has denied targeting civilians during its military operation.

Iran’s foreign ministry ‘strongly condemns’ US-UK strikes as ‘worrying threat’ to international security
Iran’s foreign ministry has said it “strongly condemns” the latest round of US and UK strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen.
In a tweet, the ministry said its spokesman considers the attacks to be “repeated violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and territorial integrity”.
“The continuation of such arbitrary actions is an obvious adventure and a worrying threat to international peace and security,” it added.
It said the strikes were in “clear conflict” with the repeated claims by the US and the UK that they do not want to escalate the situation in the Middle East.
The US and the UK struck 36 Houthi targets in Yemen in retaliation to the group’s attacks in the Red Sea.
