Members of the Iceland team (past and present) have called Cristiano Ronaldo names for his degrading actions in the Euro 2016 match against Portugal which ended a draw. They say CR7 is “a bad loser” and categorized the famous player as “petty” for his unsavory remarks after the match.

Ronaldo accused Iceland of having a small-team mentality and parking a bus in their goal post during game, making it impossible for Portugal to find the net despite all efforts made.
The cagey match in Saint-Etienne saw Nani’s goal cancelled out by Gylfi Sigurdsson in a surprising manner. Then Iceland chose to go on the defense, avoiding risky attacks against their opponent which clearly provoked the Real Madrid player but that’s football.
“It just makes it sweeter that he is a bad loser,” midfielder Kari Arnason said of the Real Madrid star, BBC Sport reports.
“We are a small island in the Atlantic Ocean and we got a draw against them.”
Former Ipswich Town, Charlton Athletic and Portsmouth defender Hermann Hreidarsson, who earned 89 caps for Iceland, added: “He didn’t fancy it on the day and he just got beaten up. It’s petty in a way. He’s a sore loser obviously.
“He thought he could have goals handed to him on a plate.
“If he would have worked as hard as every Icelandic player, he wouldn’t have had to say anything because I’m sure he would have got his rewards.”
