Grant Shapps has issued a statement in the last few moments thanking members of the armed forces involved in last night’s operations against Houthi targets.
He said on X that the forces were able to “degrade the capabilities that the Houthis use to threaten global trade” and called the operation a “success”.
Four RAF Typhoons and a pair of Voyager tankers were involved in the latest action.
Several targets were hit at two military sites north of Yemen’s capital Sanaa.
