Premier League teams are currently scrambling for players around the world and Arsenal is not left out among clubs hastening for closed deals before Euro 2016 as the club pursues a transfer deal that will see Granit Xhaka make a switch from Borussia Monchengladbach.

The transfer is valued at £35m.
Reports confirm Granit Xhaka has hinted that a move to Arsenal is unavoidable. The Swiss player previously admitted that playing in the Premier League is a ‘childhood dream that could be fulfilled’.
The transaction between Arsenal and Monchengladbach is said to have reached an advanced stage.
Importantly, it’s been confirmed that the 23-year-old star has agreed with personal terms offered by the Gunners, therefore, the transfer is more likely to be sealed before Euro 2016 begins.
The Switzerland international had a brief discussion with Swiss TV where he revealed his impatience to start a new life in England. He told SRF: ‘The Premier League is not my goal, but a childhood dream. It is a dream that could be fulfilled.

Granit Xhaka’s 2016 / 2016 League Stats show he made 27 appearances for the club; scored 3 goals; got a 50% shot accuracy; and created 22 chances. The player also earned an 85% pass accuracy; 7 yellow cards; 3 red cards; and won 49% of total duels.
During the interview with SRF, the excited player added: ‘As of now, I am still a Gladbach player.
‘That might change in the next weeks, or it might not.’
Arsene Wenger doesn’t want to lose out on the player as the manager is said to have concerns with other clubs seeking to snatch Xhaka away from his grasp.
Things could also get worse for Arsenal if the club delays signing the player before Euro 2016 considering that an excellent performance during the tournament will increase the interests from other clubs.
Other reports say Leicester City’s midfielder N’Golo Kante could be on his way to the Emirates. The youngster’s impressive performance for the Foxes in their successful 2015 / 2016 campaign makes him a second choice for Arsene Wenger. Yes, a second choice because the coach appears to have made his choice in favor of the Swiss player Granit Xhaka.
Hope Arsenal grabs the league this time. It’s been a long long time since we drank champagne on the premier league or champions league.
