Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner says he has not been offered a new contract yet by the Eagles amid intense speculation about his future.
Rumours emerged online that Glasner had rejected a new offer from Palace, with the Austrian’s contract due to expire at the end of the season.
Sky Sports News reported on Thursday that while an offer is yet to be made, Palace are set to ramp up their talks with Glasner during the international break.
“There are so many rumours and factors,” Glasner said on Friday,
“We didn’t talk about a contract, I haven’t been offered a contract so I therefore cannot reject a contract offer. That is the situation.
“We are so focused on performing and there are no talks at the moment about my contract situation. That’s my situation. Everything else is really fake news.”
