Barcelona had their best game under Koeman against Juventus in the Champions League, a 2-0 win. Pedri shone but Lionel Messi looked good too, and the Argentina international footballer scored from the penalty spot.
Former England coach Fabio Capello spoke after the game about the Argentine’s attitude.
“I saw a super-dynamic and aggressive Barca, on top of the known quality,” he explained. “With a Messi who I have never seen run so much.”
Koeman certainly wants his team to work hard and Messi is no exception.
“Juventus suffered a lot and were lucky that the final result was only 2-0, despite that the two goals were unjust, especially the first, a deflection.”
