Jeffrey Epstein once told one of his alleged victims that Bill Clinton “likes them young”, according to the unsealed documents.
Johanna Sjoberg, who has claimed she was forced to perform sex acts on Epstein, said the pair had discussed the former US president “one time”.
In a deposition taken under oath in May 2016, she said Epstein had told her “Clinton likes them young, referring to girls”.
Mr Clinton is mentioned several times elsewhere in the documents, though there is no indication of wrongdoing by him.
His spokesman said in 2019 that although Mr Clinton knew Epstein and had used his private jet, he was unaware of Epstein’s sex crimes and denied claims the former president had visited the financier’s private island.
In the deposition, Ms Sjoberg was asked: “Do you know if Bill Clinton was a friend of Jeffrey Epstein?”
She replied: “I knew he had dealings with Bill Clinton. I did not know they were friends until I read the Vanity Fair article about them going to Africa together.”
