Ruud van Nistelrooy has explained Woyo Coulibaly’s exclusion from the Leicester City squad against Fulham despite signing for the club this week. “The paperwork wasn’t ready yesterday to train, so he couldn’t train the day before a game.”

Coulibaly might not be the end of Leicester’s transfer business. Asked if the club are looking to bring in more than one new signing, Ruud van Nistelrooy said they are aiming for more.
“Of course, we look for many, but we have to face reality and do it within the possibilities. But we’re trying, yeah.”
Potter on transfer plans: We’re always looking for options

Graham Potter says West Ham will continue to explore potential signings to help the team after a poor 2-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.
The Hammers boss admitted his team were second best to their capital rivals at the London Stadium.
Asked how Konstantinos Mavropanos’ upcoming suspension for his red card in that match will stretch his resources even further – with a string of injuries affecting the attack – Potter said: “We have a few challenges to fix. That’s normally why you end up at a football club in January.
“We have some options internally and we’re always looking for options to help the team.”
Asked if there would be progress in the market in the coming week, he said: “Progress everywhere. We’ve learnt stuff today which is going to be important for us going forward.
“We’re going to try to improve every area of the club, the team. We have to accept the result and be honest and say we didn’t deserve to win.”
Pressed on whether the next months would be defined by whether West Ham sign an attacker or not, he replied: “I don’t think so, we have players coming back from injury which will help us. We need to start to find an identity with the team, that hasn’t happened so far. We need to make that happen.”
