Here’s Thomas Tuchel’s 26-man England squad heading to the World Cup this summer:
Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford (Everton), Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace), James Trafford (Manchester City)
Defenders: Marc Guehi (Manchester City), John Stones (Manchester City), Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa), Dan Burn (Newcastle United), Nico O’Reilly (Manchester City), Reece James (Chelsea), Tino Livramento (Newcastle United), Jarell Quansah (Bayer Leverkusen), Djed Spence (Tottenham Hotspur)
Midfielders: Declan Rice (Arsenal), Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest), Jordan Henderson (Brentford), Kobbie Mainoo (Manchester United), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa), Eberechi Eze (Arsenal)
Forwards: Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Marcus Rashford (Barcelona), Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa), Noni Madueke (Arsenal), Ivan Toney (Al Ahli)
So, what do we think of that?
Thomas Tuchel has now named his England squad… and judging by some of your early reactions, lots of you aren’t happy.
As expected, Cole Palmer, Phil Foden, Harry Maguire and Trent Alexander-Arnold miss out. That’s a wealth of talent and experience right there.
But is Tuchel on to something? He’ll answer for himself within the next hour (stay tuned for a live stream of that).
Until then, what are your thoughts? What would you say to the England boss about his selection?
