Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump sent some politicized messages yesterday, after learning of the accidental shooting and death of NBA star Dwyane Wade’s cousin, Nykea Aldridge.

Trump’s tweets sparked heavy criticisms because he used the unfortunate event to campaign as one of the reasons why African-Americans should vote for him.
Aldridge, who is survived by four children, was apparently at the right place, the wrong time. She was pushing her newborn baby in a carriage across the street when she walked into a danger zone and got hit by a stray bullet.
Two men were involved in a shootout reportedly at Chicago’s Parkway Gardens neighborhood.
Other reports confirm the 32-year-old mom was pushing a baby in the stroller and walking her other children to school for registrations.
The fatal shooting was met by an outpouring of grief and sympathy for Wade and his family. Chicago Bulls basketball team also joined a host of sympathizers who mourned with Wade.
The club wrote in a condolence message to the basketball icon: “The entire Chicago Bulls organization is deeply saddened by the news of Dwyane Wade’s cousin, Nykea Aldridge. We send our deepest condolences to the entire Wade family during this difficult time.”
Meanwhile Donald Trump posted on Twitter Saturday morning: “Dwayne Wade’s cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago. Just what I have been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!”

After realizing he had written Wade’s name incorrectly, Trump quickly deleted the original tweet and re-posted a new message, changing only the spelling.
The Republican candidate later added another condolence message in his third tweet.
“My condolences to Dwyane Wade and his family, on the loss of Nykea Aldridge. They are in my thoughts and prayers,” he posted.

Donald Trump has received less votes from blacks in the U.S. although he was quoted as saying earlier this month in Michigan: “You’re living in poverty. Your schools are no good. You have no jobs. Fifty-eight percent of your youth is unemployed. What the hell do you have to lose?”
Sad that the presidential aspirant would campaign even with the death death.
