The happy couple Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcomed their first child, Luna last week.
Both showed appreciation by getting her a birthstone (made of diamond). Quality gift for a celebrity baby everyone thinks – but if she doesn’t get that, who would?
Chrissy and John seem to have waited for the excitement to wear off before the new mom took to Instagram: “She’s here!” Teigen wrote. She then posted only a picture of the baby’s weight which read 6 pounds, 11 ounces. The date also showed the baby was born on Thursday April 14.
Then she continued: “Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy.”
Chrissy Teigen wedded John Legend whose real name is (John Stephens) in 2013 but the couple have had a fair share of fertility pains before resorting to IVF for assisted conception.
Legend couldn’t hide his joy as he spoke with Big Boy’s Neighborhood in Las Vegas on Friday. He said:
“Chrissy says it’s a lot of pressure though because everybody says she’s going to be so cute — what if she’s not that cute? Every baby is not that cute.
“Let’s just hope that she’s healthy and that’s all we are focused on.”
Now that the couple have registered one child, they can’t wait to fill up the family. They hope to have more kids soonest. 30-year-old Teigen explained this to Self magazine:
“I think I’ll probably be pregnant all through my 30s.
“I’ve always pictured everyone around the table for the holidays and together once a week. It’ll be heartbreaking if it doesn’t end up happening, but hopefully it will. We’ve got some embryos on hold.”
