Stressing that China is developing new quality productive forces and advancing high-level opening up to the outside world, Wang said this will provide new impetus for Laos and other neighboring countries to jointly realize modernization with China’s new development.
He highlighted the China-Laos Railway’s role, adding the two sides should focus on long-term development, to further facilitate customs clearance at ports and further accelerate regional connectivity.
China is willing to work with the Lao side to strengthen practical cooperation in energy and other fields, and help the economic and social development of Laos, Wang said.
He also called on the two sides to make efforts to combat cross-border crimes and resolutely curb illegal activities such as gambling and wire fraud.
