Bowen ‘hurting’ but vows to guide West Ham back to Premier League

West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen has vowed to guide the club back to the Premier League following their relegation to the Championship.

West Ham beat Leeds 3-0 in the final game of the season but Tottenham’s 1-0 win against Everton sealed their fate.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Bowen was asked about his future at the club, where he said: “I am under contract here, I have been here six and a half years.

“There are going to be rumours, talk and nonsense. But ultimately, what I see is getting this club back in the Premier League.

“It is where it deserves to be; it is a really low moment but we have to bounce back.

“I have had some really good moments but this is really difficult. You never know what the future holds. For me, I want to see this club back in the Premier League.”
