Bournemouth want Antoine Semenyo to stay until the end of the season despite interest from Premier League clubs over a January move, according to BBC Sport.

Last month, MEZIESBLOG revealed the forward has a £65m release clause that becomes active in January, but the release clause price drops in the summer of 2026.

Last week, MEZIESBLOG also reported that Tottenham are intensifying their interest in the 25-year-old ahead of the January transfer window. But Spurs face competition from Liverpool and Manchester City for the Ghana international.

In a fresh report, it is claimed that the Cherries would prefer to either keep Semenyo for the rest of the season by selling him at a lower price later, or agree a pre-contract in January for him to move after next summer’s World Cup.

Andoni Iraola’s side are reportedly exploring replacements, but do not have anyone immediately lined up.
