Barcelona have confirmed in their latest transfer news that the club just added France international defender Samuel Umtiti to its long list of top-class players.
The 22-year-old who was part of France campaign at the European Championships was grabbed from Lyon for €25m. He was born in Yaounde, Cameroon.
The Catalans announced the capture of the talented player on Tuesday afternoon and revealed the buyout clause in his new contract, which runs until 2021, has been set at €60m.
Umtiti is due in Spain on Thursday afternoon and will have a medical on Friday morning. He is expected to sign the contract before his official unveiling to the Press.
