Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are battling for Bernardo Silva.

Barcelona have indicated they are ready to make him a formal offer and Atletico are preparing one too after talks with him this week. 

The player is set to have a huge decision to make – but as Sky Sports News reported previously, one source is insisting it is his dream to play for Barca. 

They were interested three years ago when his previous contract at Manchester City was expiring – but he re-signed and stayed. 

Barca and Atleti are in fierce competition about a few things – another one of them Julian Alvarez. 

Atletico are still insisting he is not for sale despite an impending bid from Barca that could be as much as £78m (€90m).
