The Colombian striker spoke with Marca in a brief interview during which he revealed there's a big chance that he will return to the Sanchez Pizjuan. This is not to say, however, that he is regretting his past decision play in Serie A. “I've already spoken to [director of football] Monchi and the President, with whom I still have an excellent relationship,” admitted the 29-year-old.
“With God’s help I’d like to go back there one day because I know that at Sevilla the door is always open for me. I’m sure I’ll return one day.
“However, I’ve never regretted my decision to leave because I made it with great confidence. It was a step I wanted to take so I could continue to grow as a player. Besides, Milan’s project excited me.
“In any case, we all know that Sevilla have to sell players every year and it was my turn. The supporters understand that.
“I spent my best years there and although I’ve scored 20 goals in Italy I don’t feel as though I’ve played at my best level,” said Bacca.
