Anderlecht hope to sign striker before allowing Dolberg to leave

Anderlecht are hoping to bring in another striker before allowing Celtic target Kasper Dolberg to leave.

The Hoops have been locked in talks with the Belgian club since yesterday morning.

Negotiations were initially said to be progressing well but no agreement was reached by the end of the day.

Anderlecht were also hit with bad injury news to their striking department yesterday, following their European exit the night before.

Sky Italy are reporting that Anderlecht have made a bid for Genoa’s Vitinha. The Serie A club are considering the offer.

If a deal can be reached it could see Anderlecht more open to reaching an agreement with Celtic for Dolberg and pave the way for Adam Idah’s £7m move to Swansea City.
