Sanchez, who has been accused by football analysts for lack of commitment, will most likely sign for Manchester United today.

However, Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has made precautionary moves to deal with the deadlock posed by Sanchez’s rejection of contract offers.

The French coach was reported to have held secret talks with the Borussia Dortmund player, whose club felt threatened and embarrassed by the antics.

Wenger thinks Aubameyang is worth £170,000 a week to replace, so he is offering a whooping £53million to get the Laval-born football star out of Germany.

Aubamyang, CAF’s African Footballer for the year 2015, is popular for his goal-scoring abilities and speed. He has clocked 30 meters in only 3.7 seconds and has is a utility player for the Bundesliga side, having featured as a striker or winger.

The Gabonese star is expected to become Wenger’s most expensive player should Arsenal get their wishes granted although the 68-year-old has been criticized in Germany for talking to Auba before a deal was sealed.

Following the unfavorable leak, Dortmund axed their star player who was already named among the squad to face Hertha Berlin last night.

The 28-year-old has been given a three and a half years contract at the Emirates, media reports confirm.

Speaking on the incident, Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said,  “We find it disrespectful to voice opinions about players of other teams. There is no contact with Arsenal.

“We assume that Arsene Wenger From Back Page has enough to do, looking after the performance of his own players.

“He’s practicing in Dortmund. We felt he is not 100 per cent with his mind focused. We’ll see if this will help him. It’s a difficult situation.”

At £53 million, Auba’s fee is £1m more than the amount Arsenal will eventually pay Lyon for Alexandre Lacazette.

Aubameyang and Sanchez are akin with behavioral issues and football analysts think both players are toxic, but the Dortmund player seems favored by Arsenal for some reasons.

The maverick striker has been dropped and fined by Dortmund this season for disrespecting the club’s ethics, including bad time-keeping, but Wenger says Auba would fit in easily.

“Yes, because I believe overall you look at the achievements of a player during his career and usually, when a career has been very positive, his character has been used in a positive way,” the French coach said.
