Enyimba goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke, was delighted with the warm reception accorded him and head coach, Finidi George on their return to the team.
Olorunleke and Finidi rejoined the Nigeria Premier Football League champions on Thursday morning after returning from Africa Cup of Nations duty.
“It was an emotional moment as teammates gave your truly and legendary @official_finidi a guard of honour. Thank you @EnyimbaFC,” the former Abia Warriors goalie wrote on her X handle.
Olorunleke was Nigeria’s third choice goalkeeper at the AFCON 2023 finals.
He was the only local player included in the squad.
The shot stopper is expected to be included in Enyimba’s squad for Saturday’s Nigeria Premier Football League clash with Bendel Insurance.
