Pregnant Beyoncé has confirmed she won’t be performing at the 2017 Coachella festival on doctor’s orders, but will prove herself useful come 2018.

A rep for the “Lemonade” singer told PEOPLE.com that she will instead, headline the festival in 2018.
Considering the advanced state of her pregnancy, doctors advised that any high-profile performance between now and April when this year’s Coachella festival is scheduled to hold, will be an unnecessary risk.
Goldenvoice and Parkwood, director of the music festival, released a joint statement on the canceled performance last Wednesday.
“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” the promoter said.
“However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival.
“Thank you for your understanding.”

Beyonce was declared a headliner for the event last January, but her announcement with husband Jay Z that they’re expecting a set of twins threw the organizers off balance. Search for a replacement is underway.
Although the 35-year-old performed at this year’s 12 February Grammys, fans are hoping she’d be strong and healthy enough to spice up the popular festival.
