Carrie Fisher’s death at the age of 60 was announced earlier on Tuesday, and her mother Debbie Reynolds joined friends on Twitter who shared tributes for the Star Wars icon. Sadly, the family lost another soul just one day later.

Reynolds, 84, died in her Los Angeles home on Wednesday 28 December, 2016. She was rushed to a hospital earlier in the day after suffering a medical emergency while at Todd Fisher’s home in Beverly Hills. The media speculates it must have been a stroke.
Carrie Fisher, Reynold’s daughter, died on 27 December, and a heartbroken Reynolds tweeted: “Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter.
“I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop.
“Love Carries Mother.”

Reynolds has been a survivor for 84 years but the bond she shared with Carrie seemed unbreakable even in death. “I’ll keep singing and dancing until I’m too old to stand up,” she once said.
Todd Fisher, a son to Reynolds, told the Associated Press (AP): “She’s now with Carrie and we’re all heartbroken.”
