Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has revealed his country is prepared to accommodate nearly 250,000 American refugees if Donald Trump is elected U.S. president. And famous singer Miley Cyrus says she will leave the country, too.
There are speculations in the media that a good number of Americans will be forced to relocate if the Republican candidate wins at the polls, a rumor which Trudeau has confirmed to be true.
“ In the event of a mass exodus of American citizens, Canada will always be a hospitable country for people persecuted or fleeing difficult living conditions ”
– Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada
Trudeau spoke with reporters at a press briefing earlier today, saying: “We reach out to refugees of all countries living under dictatorships and persecution.”

While Prime Minister Trudeau puts his estimated refugees to be 250,000 only, the country’s Immigration Minister, Honorable John McCallum, says he’s expecting up to 1,000,000 American refugees by 2017 if Donald Trump is elected president.
At this moment, immigration requests from U.S. residents have skyrocketed, a report from News Daily confirms.
This unexpected turn of events was triggered since Super Tuesday when Donald Trump reportedly won in some important states.
Immigration Canada claims to have received more than 350,000 requests for information on Canadian citizenship status since Trump recorded a series of outrageous wins.
Amanda Singh, the spokesperson for Immigration Canada, said in a public statement: “The more Trump advances, the more we are overwhelmed.
“Our whole 2016 budget is already gone since it was necessary to enroll extra workforce to successfully process all applications and even then, it is far from sufficient for the task,” she added, with a visibly unsettled look.
“But Ottawa has promised us its full cooperation on this question,” she assured.

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus has made it clear that she’s ready to leave the country if Trump does the unbelievable by winning against Hillary Clinton at the ongoing 2016 U.S. presidential election.
Other celebrities who have reiterated their decisions to leave America for Trump’s sake are Macaulay Culkin and Nicolas Cage.
Miley told Rolling Stone magazine earlier this week: “If Trump is elected, it makes me sad, but I have no choice.
“I could never live under a president like him, it would be like living under the Soviet dictatorship of Hitler,” she explained.
