A 43-year-old man was caught at the Spanish airport as he flew in from Costa Rica with a suspicious-looking bulge from his jeans thought to be an endowment at first sight.
Surprisingly, he was discovered to be hiding a plastic wrap containing crack when the police searched him. The container weighed half a kilo of cocaine, reports say.
He was trying to enter Spain as a drug trafficker but his choice of hiding the drugs in his underpants made him look like a porn actor.
The police officers didn’t find any other incriminating substance in his luggage.
The unnamed traveler was arraigned in court within 24 hours and the judge already informed him that he will be facing a minimum of 3 years in jail.
Spanish police officers seem to know how to identify drug smugglers. In a similar case, a 92-year-old woman in a wheelchair tried to beat police intelligence when she hid 4 kilos of drugs in her clothes.
She got busted when a female accomplice who pretended to be her grand-daughter fled the scene when police stopped the old lady for a search.
