The Supreme Court of China has unequivocally condemned the assassination of a judge named Ma Caiyun. She was one of the two victims shot dead in the attack.

One of the attackers was angered by the court’s judgement on his post-divorce property settlement pronounced by the said judge. 

During the attack, Ma’s husband was seriously injured while the other dead victim was a man who got married to one of the killer’s ex-wives.

It was clearly a suicide attack as the two gun men killed themselves shortly afterwards.
