Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has identified two clubs that can stop or challenge Manchester City from winning the Premier League title next season.
Manchester City will try to win a fourth consecutive Premier League title next season, having won it for the fifth time in six years this season.
Pep Guardiola’s side trailed Arsenal for much of the 2022/23 season but took advantage of their wobble to storm to win the title again.
Asked about the clubs he feels will challenge Man City for the Premier League title next season, Carragher told Sky Sports: “I think Manchester United and Liverpool.”
He added, “Liverpool have got a manager who has been there and done it before. There has to be a massive improvement, but I think there will be.”
“There are still players there that have won Champions League and Premier League titles. So I will say Liverpool and Man United.”
