The star-studded event witnessed a host of celebrities in amazing outfits.
The Met Gala, also known as the Oscars of the East Coast and The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit lived up to its reputation on Monday night. Some of the biggest names in music, film, and the runway arrived wearing ornate costumes created by the world’s premier fashion designers.
Co-host of this year’s Met Gala, Taylor Swift, arrived in a futuristic silver mini-dress.
Queen Bey’s peachy latex gown with floral designs was amazing. The tight fitting gown makes one wonder how she managed to put it on through those curves.
Husband Jay-Z stayed away from the event – away from troubles. Beyonce reportedly left him at home and chose to walk the red carpet alone as a soldier, no, a survivor. She made it.
Prominent, also, among the stars in attendance was Kim Kardasian and husband Kanye West.
Kim wore a garment which looked like body armor with jewels dripping in perfect rows.
A thigh-high slit in her skirt showed off lots of leg and revealed silver t-bar stilettos.
The 35-year-old KUWTK star showed off her raven locks and diamond ear cuffs while Kanye was cool in his ripped jeans and a glittering jacket. That’s harmony at work.
Most striking of all was the rapper’s icy blue contact lenses which caused quite a stir. Could that be a pointer to something coming?
Kendall Jenner in a sexy Versace outfit with cut-outs was seen in Cindy Crawford’s company. The modeling icon wore a Balmain dress.
Kylie also went the Balmain way and she looked angelic in it.

Rita Ora arrived in a metallic feathery creation by Vera Wang.
The 25-year-old star made headlines with the awesome design. Guess she and Vera will get to answer a few questions from Animal Protection Agencies.

Madonna really got the vibe. No one will argue that she knew exactly how to stand out from the crowd in her racy ensemble even at her age.

Naomi Campbell stunned in Roberto Cavalli outfit.
And Emma Stone wasn’t disappointing in that Prada.
Golden girls Nina Dobrev and Zendaya were on the same page with their choice of color but went for totally different styles.
