Shawty Lo’s autopsy has revealed that the rapper was on painkillers at the time of his death. He died 21 September in a car accident after losing control of his 2016 Audi vehicle and crashing into a tree in Atlanta.

Latest reports on his autopsy say the D4L rapper died from blunt force trauma.
According to a report from TMZ, Shawty Lo was in possession of painkillers when he died. The Fulton County Medical Examiner stated that a prescription bottle labeled Promethazine was actually filled with Percocet and Vicodin.
The medical examiner said Shawty’s body smelt of alcohol, adding that toxicology result is yet to be released.

Two females were with the rapper at the time of his death. Police stated in his autopsy report that the other two occupants of his vehicle asked officers if they could grab some cash from the dead man’s pockets. And the cops granted permission to their request.
The two girls left him with only $16 bucks, the report said.
Shawty Lo’s funeral was held earlier this month in Atlanta with a host of celebrities in attendance, The Boom Box reported.
Among the guests in attendance were Waka Flocka Flame’s mom, Debra Antney, and reality star Benzino.
Fellow rapper Boosie Badazz made an appearance at the funeral via Skype.
“Bankhead, the streets, the world, lost a real one,” he was quoted as telling mourners.
The deceased rapper’s coffin was paraded around town by a horse and carriage after the burial ceremony. His fans, friends and family cried out his name as their voice echoed to the high heavens in memory of a beloved son and brother.
“He wasn’t ashamed of who he was and where he came from. He always showed respect for Bankhead,” said Lo’s Manager Johnnie Cabbell, according to The Boom Box.
