Tom Cruise wounded on the set of Mission Impossible 6

Tom Cruise crash-landed in a failed stunt while on the set of Mission Impossible 6 in London, media reports confirm.

The famous actor was seen limping and apparently hurt after he tried jumping from a rigging to a nearby building. He miscalculated the distance and fell really hard on the building.

Cruise, 56, got up and tried to walk away from the spot but collapsed. He later limped back to the edge of the roof top before emergency workers and some members of the crew held him back.

TMZ reported that the extent of his injuries are yet unknown, however adding that the actor whose jump was assisted with a harness, appeared to have jumped too early.

Unfortunately, he banged into the building and used his hands for support.

The actor, producer, and screenwriter has always taken responsibility for his own stunts.

Fans of the action movie series believe the latest flick is being shot in the northern part of Thames.

Skydance Media CEO David Ellison told Collider in an earlier interview that Cruise will perform some spine-chilling stunts in the upcoming movie.

In his words: “What Tom is doing in this movie I believe will top anything that’s come before. It is absolutely unbelievable—he’s been training for a year.

David continued: “It is going to be, I believe, the most impressive and unbelievable thing that Tom Cruise has done in a movie, and he has been working on it since right after Rogue Nation came out [in 2015]. It’s gonna be mind-blowing.”

Tom Cruise jums off a building while filming "Mission Impossible 6" in London on July 13, 2017.

Sometime last July, Cruise was spotted with his cast members in New Zealand. The father-of-three tweeted at that time, “Thank you to the amazing people of New Zealand! I’ve had a great time filming the next Mission: Impossible here.”
