Ryan Giggs’ Valuable Advice to the Next Manchester United’s Coach.

Ryan Giggs: Feels experience of being manager will help him

After it became clear that the former Chelsea of England’s tactician Jose Mourinho had signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United and may be given the official job come July 1 as written in the contract, Ryan Giggs who has been an assistant to the current manager Louis Van Gaal may have accepted his fate.

Giggs won’t be the number 1 choice when LVG leaves next season.

The Manchester United legend, however, has to remind whoever will be the next favored manager at Man U not to lose faith in United’s famed youth policy: “Don’t forget about the kids.”

He told Manchester Evening News:

“I think it will always be part of the club’s philosophy”.

Giggs continued, “The fans demand it, they want to see players come through the system, one of their own, and they give you a little bit of leeway in that respect.”

Just like David Beckham, Ryan Giggs is one of the faithful Man U stars who made it to the highest level through the youth ranks at Old Trafford.

“It’s part of the history, it’s what sets us apart from other teams. Yes, we can bring world-class players in from around the world, but we want one of our own to be performing on that Old Trafford pitch, whether it’s a center forward, a winger, a defender—we need players to come through the ranks.”

Marcus Rashford

It will forever be remembered in the history of Manchester United that LVG who was earlier on criticized for not having faith in youth players, gave Marcus Rashford a chance he savored. The player hasn’t stopped showing off his true values on the pitch. It is also believed that the Dutch manager could have been sacked if it wasn’t for the goals scored by Marcus that earned do-or-die victories for the team.

Ryan Giggs’ advice may be for Jose Mourinho who, although has a track record of trophies with different clubs, refused to consider youth players during his second term as Chelsea’s coach.

Jose left Ruben Loftus-Cheek to rot on the bench with great potentials as a highly rated member of England’s Under-21 team.
