Ronda Rousey has suffered another disgraceful outing against Amanda Nunes, who knocked her out in just 48 seconds to mark a second consecutive loss for the 29-year-old.
Rousey, the former bantamweight champion, had hoped to grab a win in her last fight at UFC 207 after losing to Holly Holm at UFC 193 on 15 November, 2015.
The fight between Nunes and Rousey sparked huge controversies among boxing fans who believed “the first U.S. woman to win an Olympic medal in judo (Bronze)” was not mentally stable to fight.
Her ex-boyfriend Brendan Schaub was among many who doubted Rousey’s mental balance. The champion angrily engaged the press in a war-of-words after her loss to Holm last year. She took a long time off from the sport and seem to have been in low spirits recently.
According to a report the International Business Times, Schaub said on ‘Pony Hour podcast earlier this week: “What scares me about Ronda, she went MIA, she blamed it on the media.
“Well, that same media turned you into who you are and her taking this time off, it’s a little scary.”
He continues, according to the New York Post: “She also said something like this is one of my last ones, and whenever a fighter even hints that this might be the last one, they’re one foot in, one foot out, or both feet out.
“When they say that, they get annihilated, and if I hear that, I always take the other guy.”

As of March this year, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) rated Rounder Rousey as the #2 female bantamweight fighter in the world.
In May 2015, Rousey was also selected by online voters as the Best Female Athlete Ever. The poll was conducted by ESPN.
Unfortunately for the actress-fighter who featured in “Entourage,” “Expendables 3” as well as “Fast & Furious 7,” she was given a merciless beating by Amanda in less than a minute.
The former champion was attacked punch by punch, and given no chance to recover until referee Herb Dean intervened to save her life.
Rousey has been widely criticised for going into the fight without motivation. She was defenseless and fought as if nothing was at stake – not even her reputation.

After pummeling Rousey to stupor, the current champion told fans it’d be right for them to forget her out-classed opponent.
The Brazilian star who was formerly unknown in the boxing world says she has come to take her rightful place in the boxing world.
