Neymar Jr. hires a UFC star as bodyguard

Neymar Jr. has reportedly hired a UFC star as part of his security detail.

The athlete named Nordine Taleb is a mixed martial artist who currently fights in the welterweight division of Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has been a profession since 2007.

Taleb is considered a popular choice for Neymar’s fans, considering the muscular guy’s brutality. He knocked out Erick Silva, a Brazilian opponent in 2016 but what made news wasn’t the victory — it was his deadly punch.

Taleb’s mixed arts career boasts of 13 wins (6 KOs and 7 by unanimous decision). He suffered only 4 losses, including one knockout from Guillaume DeLorenzi at the XMMA 3: Ring Extreme on 14 March, 2008.

Two of the 36-year-old’s losses were by unanimous decision, and one by submission.

Pictures of Neymar Jr. and his newest bodyguard are fast circulating on social media. The pair were spotted on the streets of Paris shortly after the footballer’s first match as a Paris Saint-Germain player.

The Brazilian scored a goal on his debut and got an assist as PSG thrashed Guingamp 3-0 in their Ligue 1 fixture for the 2017-18 season.

“Taleb is raking in some of that PSG money,” said one viewer who made reference to the footballer’s €222 million transfer deal. “Good for him.”

The UFC fighter resides in Canada, reports confirm. He trains under a veteran coach named Firas Zahabi.

Another netizen asked, “How baller do you have to be to have a professional MMA fighter at the highest level be your bodyguard?”

No doubts, it’s all about the Benjamins. Neymar is currently the world’s most expensive footballer with about $1 million earnings per week it ain’t a thing for him.
