The French midfielder is reportedly undergoing a medical in Andalusia ahead of completing a temporary switch from Manchester City as the club hopes to complete this summer’s transfer activity with a superb addition.

Valencia have had a busy summer transfer with many ins and outs. Juan Munoz has been allowed to join Real Zaragoza on loan among other transfers.

The Rojiblancos are aiming higher in their 2016/17 season as new Coach Jorge Sampaoli looks forward to assembling a quality squad that’ll compete in Spain and Europe on a position of strength.

Monchi spoke at a press conference during the club’s unveiling of their newest loan signing, goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu.

According to Football Espana, Valencia’s Football Director said: “We are finalizing the transfer of Nasri.

“We are negotiating with the player and City and trying to close the deal.

“If we get Nasri, we will have got the player we have been looking for from the start. If we get him in the end, we would have the piece of the jigsaw that the boss [Sampaoli] asked for.

“I don’t think that there will be anymore movement.”

Other reports confirm Eliaquim Mangala is also in Valencia undergoing a medical ahead of completing a loan move from Manchester City.

There speculations that the French defender would be joining his former club Porto, following loss of a place in Pep Guardiola’s plans at Etihad Stadium.

However, reports emerged today that Los Che had made a late offer for the 25-year-old as they look to replace Shkodran Mustafi, who has left for Arsenal.
