Ever seen a lion in a zoo or a safari game reserve? Awesome! How about seeing a lion walk on the streets all by itself? I could wet my pants on the sight or pass out to make it simple.
This lion walked casually through a city center and even tried climbing on a car undisturbed. The incident occurred in South Africa recently.
Yeah! Now you can imagine how a man will courageously fight off a lion – just like that.
We are not allowed to kill these carnivores for whatever reason but God help us, we don’t wish to see Columbus alone on the streets.
Reports say, “It seemed like he didn’t have a worry in the world.
“But everyone else was s***ting their pants of course when they saw him in Johannesburg, South Africa.”
It wasn’t risky because Columbus was taking part in a local movie production so people didn’t have to worry much.
The controversial part of the not-so-risky scene is that the company involved didn’t have permission from the government authorities.
According to the Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA), “The filming had not been cleared and the film company took a risk by releasing the lion into the city, without previously getting approval to close several roads.
Zanta Myeza, from the JRA continued: “We sit down with the JOC to get all the people who are involved into the same room – including the police department – to see if we all agree on something like that taking place.
“The people who were there were taking chances.”
Irvaan Dolley, from Ibiza, Spain saw the huge lion walking on the streets and he said: “It was a strange sight to see the lion strolling through the city like that and my first thought was to run.”
It was a happy ending because no one was devoured. The lion named Columbus resides at a nearby lion park.
We love saying hi to Columbus at the zoo but not when he’s walking casually through the city center.
Wow! Great news from Africa.
