Kylie Jenner and Tyga have been summoned to appear in court between now and 6 October when the lovebirds are expected to answer questions over the “Rack City” rapper’s financial standing.

The Los Angeles rapper filed for bankruptcy way back in December 2010, citing Chapter 13 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Law. He also claimed to have only $50,000 in his bank account.
Reports at that time said it was a ploy to dodge cash payments to a former landlord who had won a default judgement against him for unpaid rents. Tyga owed an estimated $500,000 to creditors including the owner of his Tarzana home who finally evicted him from the apartment.
Unfortunately, court documents provided in January 2011 declared Tyga’s bankruptcy claim as “acting in bad faith to delay, hinder or defraud the bank”. Therefore, the earlier order given to his creditors to desist from further legal actions was lifted.
The rapper’s bankruptcy claims was subsequenty declared null and void with the court ordering him to make his due payments immediately.
That wasn’t Tyga’s only financial problem in the past 5 years. He has been charged for unpaid taxes, had his fancy cars repossessed, yet he keeps buying expensive gifts for his 19-year-old girlfriend Kylie Jenner.

The 26-year-old performs abracadabra with money and this is a reason for his recent court case which has sadly involved Kylie.
A report from ET confirms that a celebrity jeweler named Jason Arasheben, who sued the “Rack City” rapper back in 2013 is claiming once again that his payments weren’t completed.
The claimant says Tyga owes him an extra $270,000 in unpaid jewelry expenses.
Considering the fact that Tyga has maintained his “bankruptcy status” over the years, the court is now asking his reality TV girlfriend to join him in court for questioning. She received a $320K Ferrari from him on her 18th birthday party.

According to the report, Arasheben’s attorney, Danny Abir of Abir, Cohen, Treyzon and Salo, explained to ET that:
- Tyga will be required to explain his actual source(s) of income and how he has been able to maintain his luxurious lifestyle since 2010.
- Kylie Jenner will also be required to answer questions on all extravagant gifts she has so far received from her boyfriend who claims to be bankrupt.
Among the recorded gifts are: a snakeskin Gucci handbag, diamond promise ring, a $320,000 white Ferrari 482 Italia for her 18th birthday and a $200,000 black Mercedes Maybach for her 19th birthday in August, including a Mercedes G-Wagon which was formerly used by Tyga’s ex, Blac Chyna.
Good news for the lovebirds, the report says Abir has agreed they will not be questioned in a law court.
Both Tyga and Kylie shall be granted some sort of privacy while they provide answers under oath to every question that will be asked.
However, the couple will be separately interrogated, according to the report.

“Our client, Jason of Beverly Hills, has a judgment against [Tyga]. Until he pays off this judgment, unless he has other means of paying off this obligation and does, his sources of income used to buy these extravagant gifts or to support such a lifestyle should be used to satisfy his obligation,” Abir explained. “That potentially includes the gifts themselves.”
“We will ask him questions related to his finances, such as to his source of income to support his lifestyle as well as to pay for the extravagant gifts he buys Ms. Jenner,” he added. “He will have to answer under oath and so will Ms. Jenner.”
