“TOMORROW, I USE MY BODY AS CLICK BAIT TO HELP CHANGE THE WORLD,” Katy Perry posted on her Instagram page on Monday. The pop star has been a vocal supporter of the U.S. Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton since campaigns for America’s upcoming presidential election kicked off.

The politically active 31-year-old wants to sensitize American people on the need to vote, and she’s setting an example by doing so in the nude, as promised.
Kat produced a viral video with Funny or Die, Rock the Vote and iHeart Media which was released on Tuesday. Her aim was to encourage people to get registered and ensure they’ll cast their votes.
Importantly, the singer wants people to know there are no prohibitions on what you can wear to the voting ground.
Kat likes to sleep naked, she revealed. She also likes to vote naked and has already made a promise to do so on November 8.
Yes, rehearsals for the naked voting has been set in motion as confirmed in her perfectly timed video released on September 27 which is also the U.S. National Voters Registration Day. She actually did vote naked as seen in the video clip.
In the short video clip, Kat wakes up from sleep, looking like a messed-up doll. The “Rise” singer was wearing an American flag pajamas with popcorn and lollipops stuck in her hair. Not minding what she was wearing, the pop star told viewers it’s just okay to go out there and vote even in your underwears.
“I’ve got some great news. This year, you can look like s–t when you vote,” she says. “Yup, I’ve briefly scanned the Constitution, and nowhere does it say you can’t just roll out of bed and come to the polls in whatever state you woke up in. In the name of democracy, any ‘just out of bed’ look is A-OK.”
However, the scene got messier when Kat arrived at the polls and points at other voters who seem be of the same opinion on what people can wear while casting their votes.
Oops! “There’s one ‘girl in a child’s onesie’, a ‘hunk in kids’ briefs’ and a woman in ‘that free XL T-shirt you got from your bank,'” she said
Unfortunately for the 31-year-old, just after she took off her clothes to fulfill her promise of voting naked, saying: “Or, if you’re like me, I sleep naked,” Kat was accosted by two cops at the scene.
As she was taken into the backseat of a police ride, Joel McHale was pictured sitting next to her–apparently for the same “crime”. “You too?” he asked. “Scratch that. Gotta wear clothes,” Perry realized. “My bad!”

Back in July, the Grammy nominee attended the Democratic National Convention where she even gave a speech and performance. She told the Philadelphia audience: “Both my parents are pastors and staunch Republicans. I did not finish high school and unfortunately, I don’t have a formal education, but I do have an open mind, and I have a voice.
“You will have as much say as any billionaire. … Because it’s not where you come from but what you grow into.”
