Ice Cube Wishing On The Stars.

The Straight Outta Compton star Ice Cube is hoping he can get back together with the original members of the former NWA (Niggas With Attitude).

The disbanded gangster rap pioneers haven’t been together on stage since 1991. The group haven’t also performed with Dr. Dre in the past 25 years.

Cube is wishing he could honor fellow rappers and friends DJ Yella, MC Ren and Dr Dre on stage during his solo set at Coachella in California this month.

He believes he can reunite the original members of NWA for a performance at one of the world’s biggest music festivals.

The movie Barbershop: The Next Cut will be released in the UK on April 19.

At the premiere of his new movie titled ‘Barbershop’: The Next Cut in Los Angeles, Cube refused to give details of his plans or the arrangements he has already put in place for the defunct NWA: “I hope I can pull it together.”

The rapper-turned-actor said, “You’ve got three major studios, MGM, New Line, Warner Bros, putting time, effort, money to open it up at the Chinese theatre. It gets no bigger than this.”

“That’s what we want. We just want to have the big stage like everybody else, that’s all.”

He went on to say that the upcoming movie features a predominantly black cast.

Ice Cube also denied ever banning his son O’Shea Jackson Jr from dating the Kardasian sisters. Jackson portrayed his father in the 2015 biopic Straight Outta Compton.

“I didn’t say no Kardashians,” he said.

“It ain’t my choice but I don’t think they can handle him.”
