How Real Madrid players planned Fabregas’ fall

Cesc Fabregas it battling hard times at Stamford Bridge, having started only three games since the beginning of the 2016/17 Premier League season. But his rejection from Spain’s 23-man squad that’ll play against Italy on October 6 is heartbreaking.

The Spaniard played in The Blues‘ 3-0 loss to Arsenal and was subbed after 55 minutes.

Though his Chelsea teammate Diego Costa made the final cut on Julen Lopetegui‘s list, the coach believes Cesc isn’t fit enough for a role in his team.

A report from Don Balon has revealed that the coach had to honor requests from senior members of Spain’s national team to ignore the midfielder. And the alleged plotters behind his predicament are all Real Madrid players.

Why did they have to dig Fabregas a grave?

The midfielder is Gerard Pique’s closest friend in the national team and Shakira’s husband has proven himself a foul-mouthed player, especially against Los Blancos in La Liga.

According to the report, Madrid players are tired of Pique’s taunts so they planned to isolate him in camp. In doing so, Fabregas had to be sacrificed, just like the grass that suffers when elephant’s fight.

A list of Barca players are in the team–Andres Iniesta, Jordi Alba, Sergi Busquets, Sergi Roberto–but none of these stars is close to Pique. They do relate well but never as close pals.

With Cesc Fabregas missing in the squad, Pique will sure get remorseful quickly and maybe change his ways, too.
