How Kanye West Ripped Off Fans at His London Pop-up Store

Kanye West Life Of Pablo London Pop-up Store.

Kanye West isn’t just a rapper but a business mogul establishing Yeezy pop-up stores around the world, but his latest antics to sell Pablo T-shirts worth £1.89 to London customers at a whooping £70, isn’t a good business idea after all.

Kim Kardashian’s hubby announced the launch of his London business outfit last week, and some die-hard fans queued up for hours waiting to get a chance for purchases.

Yeezy’s Life Of Pablo pop-up shop in London did offer fashion items like very expensive T-shirts but fans aren’t happy with the rapper-designed treasures because they aren’t actually of good quality. They were ordinary mass-produced clothes with no difference from the ones in any other shop on the streets.

A closer inspection of the labels inside the £70 T-shirts available in the store reveals that they are printed on Gildan ultra cotton T-shirts – which retail online for less than £2.

One fan was outraged to realise their £70 T-shirt was a cheap shirt with an expensive logo

In fact, as confirmed by most buyers, the sales was a massive rip-off. Most customers who left the hyped shop on east London’s trendy Old Street weren’t happy at all.

One angry customer who waited for hours to get a chance into the rapper’s shop had this to say after the disappointment: “I queued up for hours to get in to Kanye’s shop and I was so excited to get one of the limited edition London T-shirts.

“However, I’m not so excited about my purchase now I know it’s basically a cheap T-shirt with a print.

“Kanye couldn’t even be bothered to pull out the label and put something of his own in there.

“I’m gutted, to be honest. Really gutted.”

The worst part of Kanye’s disrespect to his London customer’s is, he didn’t even consider it necessary to hide the labels.

Did he think he could just buy stock T-shirts from the market and dish them out to customers at such prices?

Yes, because he’s Kanye West — a rapper-designer married to one of the sexiest women in the world.

One fan who tried very hard to understand why Kanye West would want to cheat fans who hold him in high esteem, asked if the whole point of the twenty-one pop-ups was to dupe fans.

“What if the Pablo pop up is actually an elaborate prank? Seeing how many people will drop their paycheques on cheap Chinese knock offs,” the customer asked.

What does he gain from the prank? Money?
